You Should be Talking to Your Parents About Cannabis
Talking to your parents about cannabis is something that may seem odd. It's like somebody flipped the script on us. It used to be the other way around, your parents would speak to you about cannabis. They would warn you about the dangers of how smoking marijuana can harm you and let you know about what they have learned. Many times parents would refer to the Reefer Madness propaganda films they watched in school. These are the same things that continued to show up until the early 2000s. People finally started to wise up and understand these were nothing more than hideous lies and viewed them as comical instead of informational.
Today, though, you may have to be the one to talk to your parents about cannabis. Your parents are older now and you are an adult. This may seem like a difficult or even hard thing to do but trust me your parents need to hear this. Most likely your parents are on a multitude of prescription medications prescribed by the doctor. They probably go to the pharmacist once a month having to pay hundreds for health insurance and then hundreds or even thousands of dollars worth of medications.
Many times these medications are not necessary as the issues they are supposedly treating can be helped with a natural alternative known as cannabis. There's a multitude of ways that your parents can learn about cannabis and its effectiveness. From studies that are coming out every month verifying and solidifying the medical effectiveness of marijuana all the way to educating them on the multiple ways of consumption from topicals to edibles and THC and CBD capsules.
Nobody wants to see their parents suffer or in pain. If you have the ability to help educate them on the facts about marijuana then you should definitely do so. Just gather some information and have a little conversation with your parents. After all, you're all adults now and it should be easy for you to talk to your parents about cannabis.
